| HISTORY: Spotlight Players began as the Christ Episcopal Church Opera Groupe, performing out of Christ Episcopal Church in downtown Puyallup in 1986. Then, in 1994, the group spun out of the Church to form Spotlight Players Theatre Troupe. The group formed into a non-profit 501(c)3 under Valley Arts United. Board members were elected, a mission statement and by-laws were created. The board held monthly meetings, and six general membership meetings a year; focusing on different aspects of theatre (i.e. improv, stage movements, theatre productions, etc.). |
